Turners Plumbing services LTD - Terms and Conditions

 

Quotations and Contracts

 

If our quotation is acceptable, please inform us in writing. Our quotations are valid for 28 days, unless otherwise stated.

 

Payment is due on satisfactory completion of the job. We accept cash/credit card/BACS

 

Any alteration to contract will be charged at the relevant rate.  All materials and goods remain the property of Turners Plumbing services LTD until final payment in full.

 

If you wish to cancel the contract you MUST DO SO IN WRITING and deliver personally or send this to dan@turnersplumbingservices.com

Please note if this contract is cancelled prior to commencement a re-stocking charge may apply and depending upon supplier could be up to 25%.  Special orders are not refundable.

and must be paid for in full. Any discount schemes applied for after signing these terms and conditions – the full amount is still payable until such time as your scheme has been approved.

 

A survey of existing pipe work has not been carried out therefore we cannot guarantee the integrity of the current pipe work or if pipe sizing or gas pressures are correct.  Any materials supplied by customer will not be covered by a guarantee on our part.

 

Please note: Building work, making good of existing holes/damage and decorating are not included. Removal of existing appliances/debris has not been allowed for and maybe subject to a charge, usually FOC extra charges incurred if appliance is heavy or in an awkward place and extra labour is required or contains hazardous material and requires specialist disposal.

GDPR (Data Protection): By signing our T&C you give your permission for us to register any warranties on your behalf. For more information on GDPR, please refer to our GDPR policy.

 

Complaints

 

We always endeavour to provide the best service for our customers. However, on rare occasions, we recognise that there may be times where our customers may not be completely satisfied.

To ensure we are able to put things right as soon as we can, please read our complaints procedure below and we will respond promptly to ensure complete satisfaction.

As soon as possible after the completion of the works, please inspect the work to ensure everything has been carried out to our usual high standards.

In the unlikely event there is anything you are not completely satisfied with, please contact us as soon as you can in order that we can rectify any problems as soon as possible. Either call, write or email us.

We aim to respond within 7 days of receiving your complaint and where possible, will provide you with a date to remedy any issues raised.

Where we are unable to resolve your complaint using our own complaints procedure, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution. In the unlikely event that we cannot remedy your complaint to your satisfaction you may wish to refer your complaint to them. If you wish to do so please contact Which? Trusted Traders in the first instance on 0117 456 6031.

 

Making a written complaint

 

If you are not satisfied with our response or wish to raise the matter more formally, please write to the Director. All written complaints will be logged. You will receive a written acknowledgement within three working days. The aim is to investigate your complaint properly and give you a reply within ten working days, setting out how the problem will be dealt with. If this is not possible, an interim response will be made informing you of the action taken to date or being considered.

 

Cancellation policy

 

Under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulation 2013, you have a right to cancel this contract during a period of 14 calendar days from the day this notice is sent or given to you. During that period if you choose to cancel the contract any money paid by you will be refunded.

However, if you have already given written approval for the work to begin before the end of the cancellation period you may be required to pay for goods or services already provided.

If you wish to cancel the contract you must do so in writing and deliver personally or send (which may be by electronic mail or post) this to the person named below.

The notice of cancellation is deemed to be served as soon as it is posted or in the case of an electronic communication from the day it is sent.
